Preparations continue for 2018 Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl

The Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl and ESPN Events held a press conference prior to a private Kickoff Party to announce the beginning of ticket sales in the Bahamas, give a preview of what is in store for bowl week (December 17-21) and to introduce former Bahamian college and NFL star Ed Smith as the bowl’s Honorary Ambassador for 2018.

The press conference included Pete Derzis, ESPN Senior VP, College Sports Programming & Events, Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl Executive Director Richard Giannini, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation Senior Director-Airlift Tyrone Sawyer, Mid-American Conference Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher, Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl Honorary Ambassador Ed Smith and NSA-Bahamas General Manager Quinton Brennen.
