From Saturdays to Sundays: A look at C-USA and MAC players in the NFL

With the NFL’s Kickoff Weekend completed, both Conference USA and the MAC were well-represented on club rosters across the 32 teams.

Conference USA had 79 players on NFL rosters, led by Louisiana Tech with 11, while Southern Miss had 10. The list also includes six by UAB, which dropped football after the 2014 season, but will reinstate the sport for the 2017 season back in C-USA.

In the MAC, 78 players from the current 13 insitutions were part of NFL clubs, led by Toledo with 12 and 2014 Popeyes Bahamas Bowl participant Central Michigan with 10.

What follows is the list of players by school who were either on the active roster, injured reserve or the practice squad during the NFL’s opening weekend (Sept. 10-13).
